The company was created in May 2016, starting its roots in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It now has expanded to 4 outlets in Malaysia, company owned and licensee included. The company is poised for an expansion plan in 2019 and 2020 to serve more customers our premium desserts.

The founder of the company, got his inspirations and learnt and honed his skills whilst on a job hiatus in Bangkok, Thailand. Thailand is well-known for its desserts and in 2015, the Korean Bingsu craze started to hit Bangkok and spread far and wide. The founder got an opportunity from a mutual friend to learn some basic skills about creating recipes for Korean Bingsu and also the ice-shaving techniques. The rest is History. When back in Johor Bahru for a short visit in February 2016, he realised that there wasn't a proper Korean Bingsu Dessert Cafe in Johor Bahru. Then he decided to start the first flagship store in Johor Bahru.

ICE AGE DESSERT CAFE started off only selling 6 flavours of Korean Bingsu. On top of that, we also served the long time classic, Taiwanese Snow Ice, also another form of shaved ice dessert. We also served up Waffles, Toasts and some simple fried finger food. After which, with customer feedback and demand, the founder started to do R&D and after many tries and failures, he created many more other flavours and we are proud to say that ICE AGE DESSERT CAFE now has up to 18 different types and flavours of Korean Bingsu, from all-time favourites to local creations.

ICE AGE DESSERT CAFE has come a long way since 2016. We have not focused on expansion as we are committed to creating more menu to serve our customers better and we are also very particular  about QC (Quality Control).
